HAIR TRANSPLANTS

Hair Restoration is the harvesting of healthy hair from the back of the head, and transplanting to the front, or crown of the head. THIS IS A PERMANENT PROCEDURE using your own hair and it will be with you as long as you live. You can achieve a natural appearance by using Follicular Transplant Units. Transplants require no special maintenance. (You can cut, comb, color, or style your hair as you would normally.)

What is a Follicular Transplant Unit? (FTU)

The easiest way to explain Follicular Transplant Units is to see the actual "groupings" of your natural hair on our Video Grafting Microscope. This demonstrates how hair naturally grows in one, two and three hair groupings, now known as Follicular Transplant Units (FTU's).

Why Transplants?

NATURAL APPEARANCE: By using Follicular Transplant Units, a natural appearance can be assured. The hair line is irregular, therefore the FTU's will vary in size (1 to 3 hairs) and are placed randomly. No straight lines and no corn row effects.

PERMANENT HAIR: The hair on the sides and back of the head are genetically programmed to grow forever, this is a fact of nature and genetics.

HAIR DENSITY: Hair density is achieved by the number of units used, the number of hairs in a unit and the artistic placement of the Follicular Transplant Units.
